all my hopes and dreams had flown
far away from here
in the stillness of the midnight moon
I gazed upon an open tomb
and naturally, I was filled with fear
an old man laying in the dirt, said
"come here, son, this will not hurt,
I'll teach you the art of how to disappear."

he said, "make sure you leave your loved ones safe at home
forget all you've been told or have ever known
close your eyes and fly away
break your cage of flesh and bone
become the stars and the light they've shown
open your head up and let the sky crash in."

"once you've done these things, my son,
your earthly toils will all be done
